Šipan

Šipan is a small island northwest of Dubrovnik. It consists of two limestone crests, the higher in the northeast and the lower in the southeast surround a dolomite depression that cultivated olives, figs, almond trees, and citrus fruits. It is famous for the multiple palm tree species that grow on the island.

The island has two ports, Suđurađ in the east and Šipanska Luka in the west (San Giorgio and Porto Gippana.)
