Mljet is a gorgeous island in southern Dalmatia famous for the National Park that includes the western part of the island. Mljet is located south of the Pelješac peninsula. It is defined by the Mediterranean climate, dry summers and over 2500 hours of sunshine per year, making it one of the sunniest Adriatic cities.
The Mljet National Park is the oldest National Park in the Adriatic. The park covers the western part of the island that is full of Mediterranean vegetation. It includes two lakes: The Great Lake and The Small Lake.
Mljet is connected to the mainland only via ferry, but the Dubrovnik Airport provides it international connection. Even though Mljet doesn’t have a marina, it has around ten anchorages, which means Mljet and its natural beauty could easily be a part of your sailing vacation!
